Fethiye is a city on the south west coast of Türkiye, against the Mediterranean sea. The area has some lovely islands, which I didn’t get to, and gorgeous beaches, which I did get to.
Being the second stop on a journey that didn’t have any plans I took it as an opportunity to stay for a while and put my thoughts together, make some plans, and to catch up on study.

Despite still being a bit cold and in the off season, it was still a fantastic place to visit. I was able to relax on beaches around the bays, enjoy a lot of food both local cuisine and some a bit more familiar, and still get in some adventures such as horse riding.
I met some wonderful people, locals and expats (mostly British), and spent quite a few evenings enjoying the food, drink, and company at Zayra restaurant.
Hopefully, I’ll make it back to Fethiye again, perhaps in the summer to experience it differently.
