The journey to Türkiye started at around 10am 20th February 2022 (NZ time). Leaving Cohen’s mum’s house in Pukerua Bay, Wellington and making the trip to Wellington Airport for the first of 4 legs of flying.

The trip from leaving home to arriving on our hotel bed in Istanbul was a long 38 hours, with around 24 of those spent in the air.
Will we do it again? If it gets us to exciting adventures and destinations absolutely!
